This recipe uses calendula extract. Calendula extracts are very highly concentrated botanical extracts created by extracting plant material through carbon dioxide extraction. They are very pure extracts with no solvent residues. They are oil soluble and easy to use when making oil-based natural skincare products and emulsions. Evening primrose oil has also been found to be excellent in the treatment of eczema. Lavender, bergamot and geranium is one of Gareth’s top essential oil blends for eczema.
